The Hong Kong Book Fair came to a close yesterday, gathering 990 000 visitors. This year Hungary had an individual booth at the event among other Consulates General. From 19 to 25 July, visitors could learn about Hungarian history, culture, art and science, as well as receive tourism and studying opportunities related information.

We are very grateful to our five local and one Hungarian volunteers assisting in our country promotional activities and thank the work of Gavin, Harvey and Jeremy from Munsang College, Kai Him from HKU, Kelvin and Gyula. Besides showcasing and distributing Hungarian publications, over a 100 quizzes on Hungary were filled out by participants who could win the iconic Rubik’s cubes and Hungarian books.

Our photo compilation shared here speaks about the success of the Hungarian booth. We sincerely thank Yu Kai Fung for documenting our activities and sharing his photos with us.
