We are delighted to share that Hungarian legendary composer Béla Bartók’s one-act opera, Bluebeard’s Castle (A kékszakállú herceg vára), will be presented by Ensemble Traversée three times between 13 and 15 December 2024 at the Studio Theatre in Hong Kong Cultural Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui. The production reimagines Bartók’s renowned opera, Bluebeard's Castle, using innovative technology to incorporate real-time generated video, stage design, lighting, and sound art. Bartók, a pivotal musician of the twentieth century, masterfully blends elements of folk music with Western classical traditions, creating a unique musical style filled with profound emotions.
