The VTC Fortnight International Festival was held at various VTC campuses from 28th February to 10th March 2017. The opening event of the Festival was hosted by the Design Institute in Tseung Kwan O, and the Consulate General of Hungary welcomed visitors at its booth with Hungarian salami and goose liver tasting, Hungarian folk art and craft activities and a Rubik cube challenge. As part of the anniversary event series, dr. Peter Garai trade commissioner gave a lecture about the economic development of Hungary. Finally, the award winning Hungarian film, Children of Glory was filmed at two VTC campuses.

The Vocational Training Council and its member institutions provide various continuing and professional education courses to  200,000 students annually to enhance their knowledge and skills in specific areas through lifelong learning and continuous education. VTC continuing and professional education courses cover a wide array of professional programmes, including Accounting and Finance, Business and Management, Insurance, Marketing and Communications, Applied Science, Art and Design, Built Environment, Engineering, Child Education and Community Services,Hospitality and Tourism Management, Sport, Leisure and Recreation Management, Information Technology, Languages and Whole Person Development.
