From August 31 to September 7, 2025, Szeged hosted the International Ferenc Fricsay Conducting Competition (IFFCC), named after the legendary Hungarian conductor. This year marked the event's second edition. The highly regarded competition was judged by world-renowned jury members, and the awarded conductors received prestigious guest conducting engagements.
At the competition, the talented Associate Conductor of Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Vivian (Wing Wun) Ip, achieved an excellent result by winning 3rd Prize. Congratulations to the awardee on this outstanding achievement!
