The Consulate General of Hungary and Hong Kong Metropolitan University jointly organized the event „ Get to know about Hungary” at LIPACE campus of the university. In the framework of the event over 60 interested participants received an overview of Hungarian culture, traditions, scientific achievements and gastronomy. The presentation briefly included Hungarian higher education and the opportunities within the Working Holiday Scheme. We hereby once again sincerely thank the presentation of the Dean, Dr. Benjamin Chan for his presentation on the discoveries of outstanding Hungarian figures of medical science (such as Karikó Katalin, Selye János, Szentgyörgyi Albert, Semmelweis Ignác). We also thank Dr. Faridul Hasan, postdoctoral research fellow of CityU, former Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship awardee, former student of the university of Sopron for his account and photo documentary of his experiences in Hungary. The Hungarian finger-food served at the end of the event was very well received. The associated rollup exhibition at LIPACE campus, then Ho Man Tin campus of the university will be visible until the end of January.
