The 27. Hong Kong Education and Career Expo was held between 23 and 26th February, 2017. A record-breaking number of 868 educational institutions, consulting firms, professional associations, government departments, semi-government bodies and private enterprises from 22 countries and regions were represented in the Expo, up 6.5% over 2016.

Gathering various Consulate General (CG) offices and officially recognised bodies, the newly launched “International Exchange Village” provided visitors with information and consultation service on studying and working abroad. Participating CG offices included Hungary, Korea, Mexico, Sweden, South Africa and the United States, as well as countries along the “Belt and Road” such as Bangladesh, Cambodia, Czech Republic, Iran and the Philippines.

The Consulate General of Hungary participated to the 4-day event with the aim of presenting high quality Hungarian higher education and scholarship opportunities and introducing the newly signed Hong Kong - Hungary Working Holiday Agreement.
